The Dutch dominated the Valkenswaard Grand Prix

In the Grand Prix 49 combinations appeared at the start. Eight combinations were clear and competed in the jump off for 25.000 euros. Leopold van Asten (NED) won the final Grand Prix of last year and the first of this year in Valkenswaard. With the eleven year old mare Issis du Marais (Papillon Rouge x Uriel) he was clear in 39.15 seconds. Gerco Schröder made the jump off extra exciting by being 0.04 of a second slower with Eurocommerce Acapulco (Calido x Chamiso) and his brother Wim was third with Eurocommerce Miami in 40.20 seconds. Maikel van der Vleuten completed the Dutch line up by becoming fourth on Audi´s Parmala Douche in 40.39 seconds.
