Mannheim: Luciana Diniz claimed the Qualifier Grand Prix

The ladies in the jumping saddle sorted out the placements in the Preis der Fa. Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG amongst themselves: Luciana Diniz (Portugal), Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (Thedinghausen) and Marie Burke (Ireland) were the placed riders in the qualification for the Große Preis der Metropolregion Rhein Neckar, a jumping class in the framework of the accompanying CSI at the FEI European Jumping Championship. Luciana Diniz, the native Brazilian, who is starting for Portugal, managed the eleven jumps in the MVV riding stadium in 62.15 seconds and received a prize-money of 4.500 Euro for the fastest clear round. She rode Meautry’s Locarno, a 12-year-old gelding. Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, the third of the world ranking list, also had a clear round on Checkmate, finished in 63,93 seconds and sent off Marie Burke, the Irish woman, and Chippison (0/64,40) to the third position.
