Eleven horses which demonstrated excellence in the sport last year were selected as candidates for the coveted title. Voting is now over.
As in preceding years, the public and a judging committee determine which horse will become the KWPN Horse of the Year. A total of five votes per horse are possible.
Votes cast through www.kwpn.nl count as one vote, as do votes cast by readers of In de Strengen magazine. Votes by the judging committee count as three. On Saturday, February 4, at the KWPN Stallion Show powered by Massey Ferguson, the winning horse and its breeder will be honored and presented with the perpetual Nimmerdor trophy.
