German Isabell Werth won the largest class of the day at JBK Horse Shows on Thursday, the CDI 3* Tryg Cup riding First Class 53. The pair received 69.78%. The best riders of this competition qualify for the Grand Prix Special on Saturday.
Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein and her mount Rigoletto came in second scoring 69.31%. The 3rd place in the Tryg Cup went to the Dane Andreas Helgstrand riding the 8- year-old mare Polka Hit Nexen. The horse/rider combination achieved 68.17%. The next best Dane after Andreas Helgstrand was Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard who finished in 6th place.
Werth also claimed the Prix St. George with Don Johnson. The combination received 72,894%. Dane Sune Laust Hansen was second placed with Blue Hors Rush Hour (72,421%), followed in third by Hans Peter Minderhoud with Johnson (71,210%).
