It has been reported that 10th place world ranked Austrian, Victoria Max-Theurer, will not be competing at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.
The decision was made in order to safeguard her horse from stress of the long trip and the quarantine. Max-Theurer's 10 yr. old Oldenburg stallion, Augustin, underwent …colic surgery in 2009. Instead, she will focus on the European Championships in Rotterdam in 2011 & the Olympic Games in London 2012.
