The Löwen Classics Dressage Show in Braunschweig showed several new winners. Karen Tebar showed her 17 year old mare to her advantage in the Grand Prix and won. It was her first win in Branschweig, a pleasant surprise. Perfection in detail was the character of the test. Two years ago French rider Karen Tebar, living in Baden-Württemberg in Germany, won in Wiesbaden a special „Preis L`Ami de Cheval“ , a special award for a rider establishing a great partnership with her partner, the horse.
British Emma Hindle and her partner since 2000 Lancet won the Grand Prix Special.
Just like in Grand Prix this win showed the importance of a maturing age and growing experience of the horses. However also your new stars came up in Braunschweig, for instance the only 8 year old Donna Asana, showed by Danish rider Lone Jörgensen. After the sell of Hardwig Ludewig’s G, Jörgensen now found a new challenge by bringing up Donna Asana in Grand Prix. Jörgensen was very happy with the first important international appearance of her Don Schufro-daughter!
Hubertus Schmidt, in 2007 in Braunschweig in Grand Prix Special also has seen colleague Hindle come in front. This year Australian Kristy Oatly Nist took the lead in the Freestyle, where as Schmidt showed 12 year old stallion Weltissimo as a new partner next to his experienced mare Wansuela Suerte. Last week the master presented the horse of his Italian pupil Anna Paprocka to his advantage. Now Anna Paprocka had to be happy with 63,29% of Andretti H.
