Vilamoura Equestrian Tour – 2011

The Show-jumping Competitions are equestrian events that have become well-known, within the last years, in Vilamoura.

It has gained reputation and is now considered one of the top equestrian settings worldwide, being distinguished as a destination of excellence for the practice of equestrian sports.

Between March 30th and April 24th the Equestrian Centre will host, for the fourth consecutive year, the Vilamoura Equestrian Tour. The event will comprise twelve International Show-jumping competitions with total prize money of 272.000 €. This event will bring to Portugal today’s most important riders that will compete in the qualifying events for the ranking of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).

The competitions will take place between Tuesday and Sunday, from 9H00 to 18H00. The Four Grand Prix are the main attraction and will be held on April 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. These competitions will have live TV broadcasting.

The entrance to the event is free and it has restaurant open for public.
