The three-member United States Dressage Team captured the team gold medal Sunday at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. It was the third consecutive Pan Am team dressage title for the Americans.
Canada earned the silver and the host country clinched the bronze.
U.S. riders Lauren Sammis on Sagacious HF, Christopher Hickey on Regent and Katherine Poulin-Neff on Brilliant Too finished with an average score of 68.633 percent. Canada finished with 67.250 percent and Brazil with 64.933 percent.
