Four horses belonging to the Dutch four-in-hand driver Ben Voets were severely tortured on Friday, 31st March. Two horses died and the other two survived the ordeal.
The surviving horses cannot be used for the driving sport again because they are so stressed. They all had head injuries.
Voets, has offered a reward of 20.000 euros for any information leading to the perpetrators.
