The Ponies take the centre stage

One of the biggest meetings on the international equestrian calendar, this year's Gucci Paris Masters will once again be playing host to some of the world's elite show jumpers.

And while appreciative spectators admire the top level sporting performances, children and budding riders will get two very special events of their own…

Introductions and discoveries in the Pony Paddock

Open to all and free of charge, the Pony Paddock will give younger visitors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with mounts on a smaller scale, and gain an introduction to riding. A place full of fun and joy for children, the Pony Paddock will also be holding autograph signing sessions with the professional riders and celebrities taking part in the competition.

Organized in partnership with the Haras de Jardy stud farm near Paris and located right in the heart of the Prestige Village, this special area will also provide a fun experience for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Eight charities will be providing activities and entertainments in the Pony Paddock:

– Tout le monde chante contre le cancer (Singing against cancer), which provides help and support for young cancer sufferers,
– Le Secours populaire (Popular Aid), which fights poverty and social exclusion in France,
– Les Restos du Cœur, which helps people in difficulty,
– Le Secours Catholique (Catholic Aid), which offers disadvantaged people opportunities for sharing and relief.
– SOS Village d’enfants, which helps children to maintain family links,
– Rêves d’enfants (Children’s Dreams), a charity that makes sick children's dreams come true,
– Pas d’enfants sans vacances (A holiday for every child), which offers children the chance to escape their daily lives and experience the joys of a holiday break,
– Un maillot pour la vie, which gives children support and hope by providing a fun respite from their treatment.
