The L’École d’Art Équestre de Haute Alsace, will be organizing on the 24th and 25th June at the Dachsbuhl Equestrian Centre in Colmar, close to Strasburg, an event for the Baroque breeds.
Lusitanos, Frisians, Lipizzaners and PRE horses will be shown in their various sporting phases, from basic work to Haute d'Ecole.
One of the main attractions will be the 16 year old Lusitano stallion Carinho des Noes ridden by the Olympic French dressage rider Catherine Durand-Henriquet. This combination represented France in the Barcelona Olympic Games (1992), was vice champion of France and won the Dressage Cup in 2004.
An interesting fact regarding the talented Carinho des Noes, is that, from being a leisure horse he was converted in two years into a Grand Prix horse.
