Team Gold for Irish Juniors at Magna Racino

After the first round, Ireland was just behind France with 4 penalty points and a time of 230 seconds (France: 4/226.7).

After today's three great rounds from Bertram Allen (Wild Thing L), Sven Joseph Hadley (Adelgonde-Z), Max O'Reilly Hyland (Da Vinci's Pride) and Shannon Mackenzie, the Irish team exceeded all expectations and received the gold medal in the Junior team competition. France missed the opportunity of a medal and came in 5th as Margaux Bouchery fell off her horse.

Belgium and Great Britain, former 3rd and 4th place, took the chance and both finished with 12 penalty points, leading to a jump-off, which the Belgian team won by 5 points. The Netherlands share the 5th place with France.

Austria did not make it to the second round in the team competition, but can report great news in the single competition. The Salzburger rider Melanie Buchner and her grey gelding “Zilton” made the finals after a minor slip in the first round and a clear run in the second round.
