The sun shone for the Spanish dressage riders at the CDI in clear contrast to their discreet participation in the show jumping event.
Enrique Brewah, Juan Manuel Vidal, Diego Ramirez e Raúl Pinteño were some of the Spanish riders that claimed impressive scores.
In the 5 year olds, Spanish Manuel Vidal aboard the Oldenburg stallion Sonerstern achieved a score of 76.8% ahead of the Dominican Republic's Ivonne Losos de Muniz with the Hanoverian Royal Affair. From Spain Diego Ramirez and the Lusitano stallion Vifogo (x Finório and Gaiteira) were third (76.6%).
Equally dominating in his class was Spanish Erique Breway aboard his six year old Hanoverian stallion Wanadoo who was unbeaten and earned a score of 83,0%.
The British olympic Carl Hester and the KWPN stallion KWPN T- Movistar with a score of 69,25% won the Owners Junior Team.
