Danish Lone Jörgensen is having the time of her life, winning all tests at Grand Prix level thus far with her reliable 11 year old Hardthof's Ludewig G. Her tests can be described as ‘correct, without mistakes and flashing’, one of her colleague-competitors characterized.
As the Sunshine Tour grows, the weather is growing to the occasion as well. A colder average temperature and rain has made room for nice warm temperatures and the sunshine that gave the name to the sunshine tour in Spain!
Luck and bad luck for Leida Collins
After her first Grand Prix-test which was rewarded with a second place last week the horse On Top of Dutch Leida Collins-Strijk suffered from an inflammation in his hoof. Fortunately it was cured rapidly so Leida restarted training again. Her hope is on next Wednesday, when the third week of the Sunshine Tour will start with new chances in Grand Prix again. In the meanwhile Leida Collins-Strijk showed her KWPN-approved stallions Polanski and Florett in lower clases, both to their advantage. Polanski already was the winner of four classes and was placed third and fourth.
