Sixty combinations took part in the dressage classes yesterday (27/02) at the Sunshine Tour in Dehesa de Montenmedio, Spain.
British Nicky Barret riding Faberge 50 claimed victory in the St. Georges with an average of 67,583%. On this first day of the CDI, it was evident the British riders good performance, with Laura Ferrier and Demanio settling for second place (67,000) followed by German Lysa Georg on Largo B (66,500).
In the “Owners” test, the results are not yet definite, but provisionally British Judy Harvey on the KWPN Sir Real with an average of 68,476% is placed first.
The dressage events at the Sunshine Tour gives riders the opportunity of participating in the various classes reserved for 5 and 6 year olds, the Owners Tests, Small and Big rou, Junior and Young Rider classes.
Approximately 250 dressage combinations will be taking part in the three CDI's at Vejer de La Frontera.
