Medal winners from all important championships, newcomers and shooting stars from 16 different nations will take part in the VR Classics from 14.–17. February 2013.
Therefore the World Cup event, with the title sponsor VR Banken from Schleswig-Holstein, is one of the most international events in the World Cup circuit.
Amazingly 31 riders are interested in competing at the seventh stage of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage station – a large starting list when considering that only the best 15 pairs can present themselves in the World Cup competition, the Grand Prix Freestyle on Sunday, presented by the VR Bank Neumuenster and the Bausparkassen Schwäbisch Hall.
Some of the top competitors in the Holstenhallen are the German silver medal winners from Olympia 2012, Kristina Sprehe and Helen Langehanenberg. Furthermore the five-time Olympic Champion Isabell Werth and Uta Gräf from Kirchheimbolanden will take part. With Anna Kasprzak a young shooting star from Denmark is going to compete in the Dressage in Neumuenster.
On Sunday, the 17. February at 9.55 o’clock the riders will fight for the points in the Reem Acra FEI World Cup. But before that the riders will compete in the World Cup qualification on Saturday at 8.00 o’clock in the morning. In the Grand Prix de Dressage, price given by Madeleine Winter-Schulze one can hear a pin drop in the Holstehalle – that’s how well everyone concentrates in the arena and on the grandstands…
