At the Polo Club of La Granja (Spain), Frederico Mexia de Almeida (POR) on Teddy, leads after the first day of dressage with 51,19 faults in the one star national Cross Country followed by the spanish rider Marta Botin on Aristotles. Maria Pinedo on Fier Ckoka is placed third.
In the two star event, Santiago Centenera on Harrybeau
Choc (SP) after the dressage and cross country phases leads the provisional placings with 42,3 faults. The olympic portuguese rider Carlos Grave on Samaritano, holds the second position with 46,8 faults followed by his compatriot Luís Lupi on Euro Trebele (46,8 faults).
Sixty riders are competing in this event, which includes french and tem portuguese riders.
