110 dressage and jumping horses were offered in the collection of the Hanoverian Novem-ber Auction.
The highest priced horse, Aladin by Adlantico As changed owners for 35,000 Euros and went to France.
The average price for the 110 Hanoverian youngsters ranging in ages from three to six was 12,863 Euros. Customers from France had the most patience while bidding for the four year old Aladin by Adlantico As/Landetto (breeder and exhibitor: Peter Broka, Worpswede). 35,000 Euros were invested for the dressage athlete with the jumping pedigree. The highest price paid for a jumper was for Saint Lady by Stalypso/Landor S (breeder: Guenther Heilshorn, Wulsbuettel, exhibitor: Ingo Koenemann, Warmsen). The four year old, who proofed herself already at shows, costed 31,000 Euros and will now occupy a stall in Spain.
“Autumn in Verden started strong and this trend continued during the November Auction”, concluded breeding and business manager Dr. Werner Schade. “Strong and proven purchasing nations like France, Finland and Spain were successful buyers. We are also pleased that the USA were again strongly represented.” 48 Hanoverians will cross the german boarders, the export rate exceeded 43 percent: France bought twelve Hanoverians, the USA purchased nine horses, and Spain was pleased to buy seven Hanoverian riding horses.
Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener pointed out: “The quite large collection has resulted in a positive way, assisted and pleased the breeders.” New at the Verden auction was the introduction of taking turns at the auction desk. Jens Wehrmann had his debut and assisted Friedrich-Wilhelm Isernhagen at auctioning of the horses.
