One of the highlights of the 35th Westphalian Elite Auction was the 3 month old Westfalian colt “San Cavalier” (x San Amour – Rosenkavalier), bred by Marion Sasse of Delbruck, was sold to the Portuguese company Lusitanos Sport Lda, owned by Boaventura Freire, this Sunday (13/04), for the highest bid 70,000€ in the category of the 3 month old colts.
72 lots went under the hammer and resulted in a turnover of 1.607.700 €. Sixty four horses were sold, the most expensive the most expensive horse being a dark bay mare Sole Mio, (Show Star x Lamoureux II). The 4-year old mare, bred and owned by Mr Borkenfeld, sold for 195,000 euro. The new owner is Gina Capellmann who acquired the mare for her daughter Fabienne.
