Jurado stands out at the Grand Prix Longines

The Spanish rider Ricardo Jurado aboard Procasa Julia Des Brumes claimed the Grand Prix Longines, one of the most important competitions of the 96th edition of the CSIO 5*.

The second place was for Jeroen Dubbeldam from The Netherlands, who also did a great performance with BMC Up and Down, followed by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson from Sweeden.

During the evening and after the traditional Gala Dinner the Longines Press Awards for Elegance were given to Christina Liebherr from Switzerland and the Spanish rider Sergio Álvarez Moya.

The second day started with the La Vanguardia Trophy. Jesús Garmendia from Spain finished first this hunting competition with Jibaro Du Fraigneau. Second was the German Franz-Jose Dahlmann with Pikeur Pastell and the local rider Estrat Mateu, riding Cuba Libre, was third.

Coca Cola Trophy, second of the day, an accumulator, was for the British John Whitaker with Lactic. The second place was for the Swiss Christina Liebherr riding Lilas de la Chase, followed by her countryman Hansuesli Sprunger on Kepi De Valse.
