International Show Jumping of Saint-Lô

Saint-Lô, the Norman capital of sport horses and equestrian sports, is ready again to welcome its traditional International Show Jumping competition, the first indoor one of the Autumn-Winter season organized in France. With an increased prize money (118,000€ in the 3 stars, 21,000€ in the 1 star), the schedule starts on Thursday 11 October and finishes on Sunday 14 October with two Grand Prix.

Two important changes have been brought to the organization:

• a better distribution of the classes everyday to end competition earlier.

• a training arena completely renovated to guarantee the best conditions to horses.

2 sales dedicated to French sport horses

What makes this Norman show really different from the others is the organization of sport horses sales during the week-end. This year, riders, owners, breeders and investors will be able to attend to 3 sales:

• 2 auction sales of 3 year old horses mainly bred in Normandy on Friday 12 October (7:00pm with 41 horses) and Saturday 13 October (10:00am with 56 horses). Most of these horses are sired by prestigious stallions: Apache d'Adriers, Calvaro, Quattro B, Diamant de Semilly, Dollar dela Pierre, L'Arc de Triomphe, etc.

• 1 amicable sale of foals on Saturday 13 October afternoon with more than 50 fillies and colts bred in Normandy.
