Incolor and Romanov best Oldenburg Stallions 2008

At the Althengstparade where nearly 70 stallions presently active in Oldenburg breeding were presented, the VTV Sport Stallions of the Year 2008 were also honored.

The VTV Jumper Stallion of the Year award went to Incolor by C-Indoctro / Argentinus, bred and owned by Karl-Heinz Oeltjen from Halen. This eight-year old chestnut stallion stationed at Zuchthof Klatte in Klein Roscharden has won ribbons in international show jumping competitions with his rider, Otto Vaske.

The VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year award went to Blue Hors Romanov by Rohdiamant / Grundstein II, a former Oldenburg Reserve Champion stallion who now wins Grand Prix at the age of eight. Romanow is bred by Harli Seifert, Löningen and was beautifully shown in Vechta by the Swedish rider Anna Blomgren.
