Hickstead Is Most Successful Jumping Horse Of The World

At present, Hickstead is the most successful jumping horse of the world.

The 15-year-old stallion of Canadian jumper Eric Lamaze is the leader of the World Breeding Federation’s ranking list for sport horses followed by the Belgian gelding Ulysse of Swiss rider Pius Schwizer.

Pius Schwizer can be found twice on the world’s ranking list; his mare Carlina is fourth shortly behind Silvana de Hus, the mare of the French European Champion Kevin Staut.

Holstein is the most successful breeding region. Four Holstein horses are among the top ten: Carlina and Casall la Silla (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, SWE), Cash (Marco Kutscher, GER) and Cristallo of the American Richard Spooner.
