Grandioso III the PRE stallion owned by Hampton Green Farm, USA was ridden by Courtney King Dye in 2010. When Courtney King Dye had her riding accident last March, the owner Kimberly Van Kampen Boyer decided to keep Grandioso in work until Courtney’s recovery.
Now the parties involved decided that it would be the best for the stallion, if the stallion were ridden by another rider considering the London Olympics 2012.
At the end of 2010 Boyer received a proposal of the Spanish coach, Jan Bemelmans. He suggested to train Grandioso III in Germany. The Spanish rider Daniel Martin Dockx should then compete with the stallion on an international level riding for Spain.
Kimberly Van Kampen Boyer, the owner, agreed with Jan Bemelmans that Grandioso III will be trained in Germany for about two months and then be passed on to José Daniel Martin Dockx. Bemelmans will train the pair at the forthcoming Sunshine Tour.
Eventually Grandioso III should be stationed at Dockx’s barn in Malaga.
