Global Champions Tour Chantilly – 22 to 24 July 2011

The coming weekend the seventh leg of the Global Champions Tour will take place in Chantilly, France in the magic site of the Chateau de Chantilly. ‘Jumping de Chantilly’ is held on Europe’s oldest racecourse and riders will compete in front of the prestigious Chateau de Chantilly, probably the most beautiful ambience for an equestrian competition.

‘Jumping de Chantilly’ is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is from now on integrated into the circuit of the Global Champions Tour.

The crème de la crème of international show jumpers will be gather in Chantilly to fight for the GCT trophy. This year Ludger Beerbaum, Denis Lynch, Kevin Staut, Eric Lamaze, Christian Ahlmann, Edwina Alexander, Laura Kraut, Alvaro De Miranda, Michel Robert, Patrice Deleveau, Pablo Barrios and Philip Weishaupt will be expected – to name just a few. The first round of the GCT competition will start on Saturday at 3.30 pm, whereas the second round will continue at 6 pm.

After Chantilly only three GCT legs are left for this season: Valkenswaard (NED) from 12 to 14 August, Rio de Janeiro (BRA) from 2 to 4 September and the final leg in Abu Dhabi to be held from 24 to 26 November.
