Gestion Janssen, one of the former top horses of Dutch dressage rider Imke Schellekens-Bartels has passed away. Janssen was the first Grand Prix horse Imke educated herself.
Imke: 'Janssen has been a very important horse to me. After my carreer with Barbria, which was trained by my mom, I needed a new Grand Prix horse educated by myself to prove the world I could do more than just riding my mom's horse. Janssen was a very good school horse for me, although he was not super super talented. The past years he was stabled in Belgium where he enjoyed his retirement.'
