Deister now with Jos Lansink

The 8-year old Belgian-bred stallion Deister (Quidam de Revel x Carthago), who is registered for sBs (Belgian Sport Horses), has moved from Bille Brecht to the stable of Jos Lansink. The young Kenneth Cheng from Hong Kong is the new rider of Deister and had already participated with him at the CSI2* Roggel.

Cheng is born in April 1988 and lives in Germany, but rides for Hong Kong. His father, K M Cheng, is a show jumper, too.

He had already represented Hong Kong at the Asian Games in 1986. Kenneth Cheng had already competed at the Hong Kong Olympics in 2008 riding the Holstein gelding “Can Do” (von Chambertin). This gelding had been ridden by Ludger Beerbaum beforehand under the name “Catch me if you can”.
