Danish champion Helgstrand a winner in Lingen

The last time Andreas Helgstrand competed in Germany he did win almost any class in which he competed. Now after winning the Danish championships last week, the modest Dane did it again in Germany! He won the first class counting as a qualifier for the Kampmann Cup riding the 11 year old danish bred grey mare Blue Hors Matiné in the Grand Prix. The mare is outstanding and excels in piaffe and passage.

The Lingen Dressage Festival is the first show where the dressage ‘giants’ do meet again after the FEI World Cup Final dressage in Amsterdam.

The first three of the World Cup Final, Anky van Grunsven, Isabell Werth and Jan Brink do compete, although not in the same Grand Prix-division with the same horses.

Anky van Grunsven has brought her Olympic champion horse and new World Record holder in the Grand Prix, Keltec Salinero for training purposes and did agree to do a show with him next Sunday in Lingen. Lingen will be her only Horseshow in Germany except for the WEG where she will compete.
