Concordia & Fine Lady convinced the numerous guests

Hanover’s best three-year-olds presented particularly outstanding movement with strong gaits and athletic sports attitude. The two champion mares, the Hanoverian premium candidate Concordia (show jumping) and Hanoverian premium candidate Fine Lady (dressage) convinced the numerous guests at the Herwart v. d. Decken-Show. The level was particularly high, and it was a truly exciting contest.

14 show jumping and 63 three-year-old dressage horses in total competed in seven divisions for oak wreath and award ribbons. The well-known stallion raisers Gerd Sosath/Lemwerder, Konrath Böth/member of the Executive Board of the Hannoveraner Verband, and Breeding and Business Manager Dr. Werner Schade were the judges. “Congratulation to Hanover’s breeders,” Gerd Sosath was deeply impressed by the high quality of the mares born in 2011. “The mares exhibited brilliant type, combined with sportiness. They are made for breeding!”

The show jumping mares were the first ones to compete in a spectacular free jumping contest under the open sky. Hanoverian premium candidate Concordia by Cloney/Landclassic (breeder: Wilfried and Fritz Backhaus, Binnen – exhibitor: Iris Schepergerdes, Meppen) became champion mare. “She convinced not only over the fences, but also with awesome basic gaits,” Dr. Werner Schade praised the mare and described her as “most complete mare”. Reserve winner became the Canstakko/Cheenook-daughter, Hanoverian premium candidate Can Caipina (breeder and exhibitor: Frank Johannsen, Daensen).
Privately owned stallion Fürstenball celebrated a double victory in the division of dressage mares. Hanoverian premium candidate Fine Lady by Fürstenball/Donnerhall (breeder: Heinz Schulze, Tiddische – exhibitor: Dr. Rolf-Peter Schulze, Tiddische) won the oak wreath. Modern conformation and with gaits that leave no desires open – this is how she dominated the competition. “Impressive gaits are combined with an outstanding dam line,” said Gerd Sosath. Second finished Hanoverian premium candidate Fannie by Fürstenball/San Remo (breeder: Wilfried Fiedler, Bahrenbostel – exhibitor: Gestüt Fohlenhof, Hassloch).

It was the first time that two halfbred mares competed in the division of dressage mares. Best halfbred mare became Hanoverian premium candidate Liciella by Likoto xx/Wenzel (breeder and exhibitor: Dr. Hinni Lührs-Behnke, Verden-Borstel).
