Comporta will host the Atlantic Equestrian Tour 2007

Organized by Salto Etapas Lda., the first edition of the Atlantic Equestrian Tour 2007 will take place at Comporta located south of Troia island and close to Setúbal.

Comporta is a self-sufficient town with beautiful unspoilt long beaches. The nearest large towns are Setúbal and Alcácer do Sal. Setúbal has extensive shopping with a choice of Supermarkets, a daily market, a good selection of restaurants and a railway station (Lisbon 50 minutes).

THE ATLANTIC EQUESTRIAN TOUR IS THE START OF THE OUTDOOR SEASON!

160 Combinations representing 20 countries have confirmed their entries for the CSI** which starts next Monday, (19/02). The programme caters for young horses, amateurs and professional riders. The classes for the 5, 6 and 7 year olds will take place during the week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and the amateur and professional classes will be held on the weekends.

The Atlantic Tour 2007 will distribute in prize money 108 thousand euros, of which 60 thousand are reserved for the three GP events. There are two grass arenas and a sandy practice arena.
