Cascais to host the Pessoa Junior Cup

Organized by Oxer Sport SL, in Spain, the popular show jumping circuit for children, juveniles and junior riders, has schedule one of its qualifying classes for the Hippodrome Manuel Possolo in Cascais, Portugal (03-05/08).

The Pessoa Junior Cup comprises eight qualifying events and one final. These events are scheduled for the following Spanish towns, Madrid, Badajoz, Barcelona, Valencia, Cádiz, Gijón and Córdoba.

The first qualifying event will be held in April at the Real Automóvil Club de Espanha (RACE) Madrid. Children from the age of 12 to 18 years may participate in the Pessoa Junior Cup.

Besides the prize money of 60 thousand euros, ribbons, and saddlery, the main attraction for the winners is a visit to Belgium to attend a clinic with the current Olympic champion Rodrigo Pessoa at the Haras de Ligny with all expenses paid.
