Sven Rothenberger reported that de IJzeren Man Stables from his father in law Adrie Gordijn and he have decided to sell half of the 14 year old experienced Grand Prix horse Barclay 11 (Brentano II x Lungau) to Hofgut Liederbach in Germany. This with the aim to help Belgian rider Carl Cuypers (28) to competing at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen and probably after that, when the relationship does work between all parties involved, to the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
Barclay II has been a solid member of the fourth placed Dutch equestrian team at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 and at the silver winning medal team at the EC 2005 in Hagen.
