Canadian legend Ian Millar is the new Rolex Grand Slam contender

From the Wimbledon Championships in tennis, to The Open in golf and Formula One in motorsport, Rolex supports only the very highest level of sport throughout the world. The three equestrian Majors of CHIO Aachen, Spruce Meadows 'Masters' and CHI Geneva, collectively make up the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping and can rightfully be categorised as the greatest equestrian shows in the world – titles which all riders aspire to win.

Canada's Ian Millar became the new live contender for the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping after winning the second Major of 2014, the CP International presented by Rolex at the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' in September. Riding his 11-year-old bay gelding, Dixson, the veteran rider, known as 'Captain Canada' by his colleagues, used every ounce of experience to overcome his nearest rival, Reed Kessler (USA) riding Cylana in the jump-off.

The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping now moves indoors to the CHI Geneva in December, where Ian Millar will be aiming to win the second show in his quest towards being crowned the first rider to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
