The 6th Alsfelder Advent concluded the auction year of the Hannoveraner Verband with a good result.
Most popular youngster was Bandol, sold at Euro 36,000 to a dressage rider in Switzerland. Euro 13,347 were averagely paid for the 25 riding horses.
It was the first time that the training started in Verden before the horses moved to Alsfeld – a concept that obviously worked. The Benetton Dream/Lauries Crusador xx-son Bandol, bred and exhibited by Benedicte Meyer from Luxembourg, was already one of the most striking futurity prospects in the run-up to the auction. The customers from Switzerland bought their first horse at an auction of the Hannoveraner Verband and were there pretty enthusiastic when auctioneer Bernd Hickert accepted the bid after an exciting bidding duel at Euro 36,000.
Most expensive jumper was the Charilan/Lord Sinclair-son Charmeur S (breeder and exhibitor: Dr. Christian Schroeer, Siedenburg). A show jumping stable from Hessen purchased the young athlete who exhibits best prospects for a successful and dazzling future career at Euro 16,000.
There was a huge interest in the auction collection far beyond German borders. Nine horses will find their new home abroad. The established Cadre Noir from France acquired two futurity prospects. The auction went very well, and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. “The general atmosphere was very positive,” Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener said and was happy about the fantastic international response.
