Balsandra by Baloubet du Rouet reaches Top Price 880.00 euros at the P.S.I. Auction

The German Federal Champion was the most expensive horse of the 31st Performance Sales International.

The six year old daughter of the World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, out of a Sandro dam, cost 880,000 Euros at the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum. That made the sporty bay mare the top price of the 50 horses in total which were auctioned off at the most important riding horse auction by the P.S.I. initiators Paul Schockemoehle and Ullrich Kasselmann.

The elegant six year old grey mare Caruschka, by Caspar – Continue, was worth only slightly less – exactly 770,000 Euros – for her new owner. Caruschka, just like Balsandra, was a member of the jumping collection of the P.S.I. Auction. The top price of the dressage collection was the five year old bay Hanoverian stallion Riccidoff, by Riccione-Don Davidoff. The approved stallion changed ownership for 680,000 Euros. Total proceeds of 12,616,000 Euros were reached at the 31st P.S.I. Auction in Ankum and, with that result, clearly exceeded the previous year’s result of 10.44 million Euros. The jumping horses reached an average price of 296,040 Euros and the dressage horses were sold for an average price of 208,600 Euros. “The results of the P.S.I. Auction make it very clear that clients are ready to invest in top quality horses,” commented Schockemoehle and Kasselmann, “we are happy with the complete result of the P.S.I. Auction.”
