Apassionata coming to Spain

Arguably the greatest equestrian performance show in the world, Apassionata is coming to Madrid and Barcelona in May.

Featuring magnificent animals and an international assortment of top riders including daredevil Cossacks and fiery Spaniards, the show enjoys massive popularity, attracting more than half a million visitors to its various venues across Europe.

Many of Appassionata's 40 horses come from two internationally renowned stables. The first is that of Luis Valença Rodrigues of the Centro Equestre da Lezíria Grande, who has earned the honorific of Grand Seigneur among the breeders of Lusitano horses, capable of being trained to the highest levels of dressage performance.

Others, varying in age from 7 to 14, are brought to the show by the Spaniard Sebastian Fernandez, whose Andalusian horses are noted for their intelligence and agility.
