On her first visit to the German Löwen Classics in Braunsweig, Russia’s Alexandra Korelova and her 17 year old stallion Balagur won the Grand Prix and the Freestyle.
The experienced rider from Russia (she competed at the Olympic Games in Athens) showed an attractive Freestyle.
About the horse she said, “He is very clever and has an ear for music”. Balagur came to Alexandra when he was 11 years old. Her coach is George Theodorescu.
Special win for Hindle
German-based British rider Emma Hindle and Lancet were back in action at Braunschweig CDI in Germany, 8-12 March 2007, and won the grand prix special with their best GPS score to date, 71.8%.
Britain’s number one ranked rider and Brookhouse Stud’s 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion were competing at their first show since the beginning of December. They finished third in the Grand Prix with 70.63% despite a mistake in the one-time tempis.
