The 129th Elite Auction will be held in the Niedersachsenhalle on October 11 and 12.
The interesting and versatile collection includes 69 Hanoverian, Westphalian and Rhenish horses. Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener is very satisfied with the collection. *I would have of course preferred to present a more extensive collection of riding horses. However, the quality is very high. Each horse of this collection deserves the attribute *Elite”. 62 foals complement the offer.
Elvis VA by Espri/Garibaldi is the cover hero of the 129th Elite Auction.
His breeder Christian Pfeil from Bremerhaven presented him at the 2000 Spring Auction. Team Olympic Champion Martin Schaudt purchased the four-year-old futurity prospect at Euro 57,000. He won the team title at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen and at the 2008 Olympics in Hong Kong with Nadine Capellmann as well as the team silver medal at the 2007 European Championships in Turin. Now Nadine Capellmann decided to retire the 16-year-old gelding from sports due to an injury.
42 horses qualified for the dressage collection, from three-year-old youngsters to seven-year-old sports horses. The show jumping collection features 27 jumpers. All of them match the different requirements, from futurity prospects to experienced show horses that are ready to compete at once. Among them are many licensed stallions with both, fantastic own sports
accomplishments, but also entered into the Stallion Book, category I.
62 Elite foals will also be offered for sale that leave no desires open when itcomes to type, movement and pedigree.
The 69 riding horses will arrive in Verden on September 30 and will bepresented during public training every day. The opening presentation of thedressage horses will be on October 3, the German Day of Unity, as of 10.00 am, followed by the opening presentation of jumpers as of 2.00 pm.
There will be a special presentation of the auction horses on Wednesday, October 9: Riding Master Klaus Balkenhol will present his classical way of training young dressage horses as of 2.00 pm during a presentation with horses of the dressage horse collection, and team European and World Champion Markus Beerbaum will explain and demonstrate during the presentation of jumpers what is important to him when training young jumpers.
The 129th Elite Hanoverian Auction will be opened on Friday, October 11, with the traditional and fascinating Gala Evening Show. The auction willstart on Saturday, October 12, in time at 3.00 pm.
