103 Hanoverian Riding Horses were sold

103 Hanoverian riding horses were sold at an average auction sales price of Euro 40.267 at the 119th Elite Auction.

The Belissimo M/Calypso II-son Bacchus von Worrenberg was the top-priced horse of the day, sold at Euro 195,000. Breeder’s alliance Peters and Hodel from Volken/Switzerland bred the Bundeschampion of three-year-old riding horses who was exhibited by Wilhelm Schwierking and Rolf Waering from Barver. The young horse will be trained in a dressage stable in Hamburg.

Most expensive show jumping horse was the For Keeps/Domino-daughter Feline (breeder: Ike Wrieden, Ritterhude – exhibitor: Klaus Dirks, Bad Zwischenahn). The Royal Moroccan Army purchased the successfully competing bay mare at Euro 140,000. Three more young show jumping horses will travel to North Africa.

25 Hanoverian riding horses were sold at Euro 50,000 and more. Auction manager Dr. Günther Friemel and his team were completely satisfied with this result. Although the pricing was excellent, there was a modest reduction in export rate, compared to last year.

33 horses will leave Germany. Five horses were sold to Canada, each four to France and Spain.

46 foals completed the Elite auction collection. They were sold at averagely Euro 6,920. Top-priced foal was the Hotline/Lauries Crusador xx-son Hidalgo (breeder and exhibitor: Horst Rosenblatt, Bochum), sold at Euro 20,000 to a stallion raiser in Switzerland.
