Glorious Great Britain clinch Longines League of Nations™ crown

In the tightest of finishes, Di Lampard’s reigning Olympic Gold-Medallists Great Britain clinched victory and added “Longines Leage of Nations™ Champions” to their illustrious list of accolades. Going head-to-head in a thrilling jump-off with geographical neighbours Ireland, who also completed the first two rounds on 16 faults, Scott Brash gave Great Britain the edge as his clear in 38.19 seconds snatched victory for his team mates Ben Maher, Harry Charles and Donald Whitaker.

Ireland’s quartet of Bertram Allen, Sean Monaghan, Billy Twomey and Michael Pender had to settle for second despite Twomey’s sensational jump-off opener in which he delivered a blistering clear in 38.42 seconds.

Last year’s champions Germany, represented on this occasion by Christian Kukuk, Sophie Hinners, Marcus Ehning and Richard Vogel secured third place with a team score of 21 faults over the two rounds.
