Portugal vai estar ausente das provas de Dressage (CDIO***) e de Saltos de Obstáculos (CHIO) de Aachen, Alemanha, o evento mais importante do mundo, e que se vao disputar entre 23 e 28 de Agosto no local escolhido para os Jogos Equestres Mundiais em 2006.
Cerca de 83 cavalos e 55 cavaleiros de ensino provenientes de 14 países, vão disputar as provas no Aachener Soers Equestrian Grounds.
