Top breeder Cees Klaver auctions 59 show jumpers

The famous horse breeder Cees Klaver is turning seventy this year and while he is celebrating this festive occasion he will auction 59 young horses. With over two hundred horses, he has decided to shrink his breeding farm in Schoorl a little bit.

The ‘Horseauction PNoord-Holland’ has taken care of the organization and will auction 59 young horses and broad mares at Manege Beukers in Oudkarspel on Friday, May 30th. From pregnant mares out of proven dam lines, foals, yearlings and two year olds to young horses who are just making their first jumps under the saddle .

There are also some interesting embryos in the auction, for example out of Telysette (Quick Star x Nimmerdor), the full sister of Klaver’s pride Big Star who won team gold at the London Olympics with Nick Skelton. The embryos descend from the stallions Mylord Carthago and l'Arc Triomphe . Telysette is also dam of the stallion Matanzas Z (Mylord Carthago), born in 2013 and also for sale.

The mare Covergirl Z (Caretano x Carthago) is another eye catcher as producer of three embryos. Her mother is sister of four international show jumpers, among who the 1.60m Grand Prix show jumper Hartrock Z. The sires of the embryos are Big Star Junior K Z, Aktion Pur and Mylord Carthago.

There are also young horses from the first crop of Big Star junior and horses bred out of the direct line of the Grand Prix show jumpers Big Star, Taloubet Z and Parabel. Krista, dam of the famous Taloubet Z, is directly represented with her offspring .
