Use the brain of the horse

Friday evening, after the intense finales of the young horse championships Will Rogers and Anna Blomgren will host a clinic.

– It is much easier to teach the horse new exercises, if you understand how the horse thinks and why it reacts as it does, says Anna Blomgren and she continues:

– Will’s training techniques can be used by any rider, and they can be useful for every horse regardless its training level. The exercises are ‘just’ about doing things smarter; to use and utilise the horse’s own intelligence. We actually believe that if you can teach your horse to understand the human environment and to trust its rider, then both you and your horse will get much out of your daily training – and also better show results.
