Task Force and Technical Committee Proposed New Rule Changes for 2009

The FEI Task Force held its final meeting in Dubai this February, exactly one year on from the initial Endurance Forum held in Paris in 2007.

Following this very productive meeting, the six chairmen, alongside their members, have finalised the review of the ever-expanding sport of Endurance and have put together their suggestions for the new 2009 Rule Book which was submitted to the FEI Technical Committee during the recent FEI Spring Meetings held in Interlaken (SUI) in April.

This in-depth look at one of the most popular equestrian disciplines in the world, was continued by the Endurance Technical Committee, headed by Acting-Chair Ruth Carlson (CAN). All members felt the Task Force had done an exceptional job and were excited at the new steps being taken by Endurance.

The New Rules have now been combined with comments from the Endurance Technical Committee and have been sent on to all National Federations. The FEI is now awaiting responses from these NFs, who have been asked to submit their comments and suggestions by June 13th 2008.

Whilst we have now posted these documents into the public domain via this website, we would kindly request that all contact be made by people’s respective National Federations.
