The four-legged World Champion Sa Coeur was the most expensive horse of the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum: The new owners paid 2.31 million Euro for the dark-brown offspring by Sir Donnerhall I – Don Davidoff. Sa Coeur won the FEI World Breeding Dressage Championships of five-year-old horses in Verden in August under Eva Möller, and he will now move into a stall in Great Britain. The 33rd Performance Sales International in Ankum finished with an excellent result. Total auction proceeds amounted to 15,580,000 million Euro for the 45 show jumping and dressage horses of the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum.
Top-priced horse Sa Coeur contributed considerably to this fantastic result, just as the second most expensive horse of the auction, the shiny black stallion Don Noblesse by Dancier – Don Davidoff. He was sold at 1,220,000 million Euro to customers from the US and will find a new home at the Deckstation Pape in Hemmoor/Lower Saxony. Don Noblesse and Sa Coeur were part of the dressage horse collection of the Performance Sales International. The third most expensive horse, the liver chestnut mare Altesse Gold from the show jumping collection, changed owner at 800,000 Euro. The six-year-old Armitage – Landgold-daughter was purchased by customers from Switzerland. Another World Champion was sold at the P.S.I. Auction: Chacciana, outstanding daughter by the amazing Chacco-Blue and World Champion of seven-year-old jumpers, was sold at 770,000 Euro.
The average selling price for the 45 P.S.I. horses was 346,222 Euro. The average price of 352,174 Euro for the dressage horses was a bit higher than for the jumpers, being sold at averagely 340,000 Euro. The 33rd Performance Sales International finished after four and a half hours with a total of 8.10 million Euro for the dressage horses and 7.48 million Euro for the jumpers. There were already exciting bidding duels for the first horses of the collection.
