For the third consecutive year, the Brazilian Pia Aragão, who rides for the Interagro Stables, has been elected the best dressage rider for 2005.
The awards ceremony was held last week at the Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro, where the best Brazilian athletes in the various sports disciplines were honoured.
Pia believes that her performances on the pure bred Lusitano, Nirvano Interagro, are partly responsible for this award.
During 2005, Pia Aragão with Nirvano Interagro won the Brazilian Dressage Championship for seniors, the Amil Championship and leads presently the Brazilian Dressage Ranking.
