Marcos Diaz jumped 2,02 metres in the Campsa Six Bar

The Campsa Six Bar of the CSI 3 * International Jumping Competition of Santander, could not have provided a more interesting and spectacular show. With four horse and rider combinations clear for the third tiebreaker, the Course Designer Javier Trenor decided to raise the last vertical from 1.92 m. to 2.02 metres, an imposing height that was mastered by the 22 year old spaniard Marcos Diaz, riding the 11 year old SF Inuendo D'Anchin.

Marcos Diaz broke the record at the Santander Six Bar of Santander, which had been held by the spanish female rider Pilar Lucrecia Cordón from Zaragoza, who in 2002 jumped 1.95 m., and, in the same jump, passed the 1.97 mark that gave Piet Raymakers victory in the CSI of San Sebastian.

Together with Marcos Diaz after topping faultless the 1.92 m mark in the third and final tiebreaker was David Quigley of Ireland, riding Future Ashdale, and Aldrick Cheronnet of France, on Pugnax, who shared second position, after surpassing the final vertical. Graham Lovegrove of Great Britain, was fourth and finished with eight points in his last round on the track riding Valblanc Van Het Panishof.
