Liselle sold for €72.000 at the Alsfelder Advent Auction (video)

The 37 auction horses of the “Alsfelder Advent” presented themselves as shiny collection with some of them developing into extraordinary highlights.

The average selling price was Euro 15,230. Accompanied by the enthusiastic applause of the audience, the amazing Liselle left the auction ring in the Horse Centre/Pferdezentrum Alsfeld as top-priced horse.

The Locksley II/Walzertraum-daughter (breeder and exhibitor: Heino Bruns, Goedenstorf-Luebberstedt) already captured everybody's attention before the auction. Following an exciting bidding duel, auctioneer Bernd Hickert sold the exceptional horse at Euro 72,000. Her new owner, Theresa Bahlsen from Garbsen, will have her trained in dressage. Head-no. 1, San Antonio by San Amour/Belissimo M (breeder: Dr. Cord and Gundula Heimsoth, Quelkhorn, exhibitor: Dr. Cord and Gundula Heimsoth, Quelkhorn and Sigfried Pilz, Lilienthal), already kick-started the auction and was sold at Euro 42,000 to Berlin.

A regular customer from Denmark purchased the most expensive jumper, the four-year-old C'est Ma Chérie by Calido/Graf Grannus (breeder: Karl-Heinz and Hans-Guenter Schweritz, Rheinau, exhibitor: Marcel Mueller, Harsum) at Euro 22,000. Together with the grey mare, 14 other horses will leave Germany. The biggest group of buyers came from the US (three horses). But customers from the United Arabian Emirates and from Indonesia also benefited from the outstanding collection offered by the Hannoveraner Verband.

There was a joyful, pre-Christmas atmosphere in the Horse Centre/Pferdezentrum Alsfeld. The futurity prospects were still tested under saddle shortly before the auction. “The collection was fantastic. The focus of interest was not only on one outstanding horse, but on a great number of promising youngsters,” Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener said.
