L´ Année Hippique selects Best Riders and Events of 2005

The new edition of L´ Année Hippique, the official yearbook of the International Equestrian Federation, FEI, has been published. Apart from reports on all major international competitions in 2005 and many interesting features, the best riders and events of the year 2005 are announced in the book of 484 pages.

Best Show Jumping Rider of the Year is Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Anky van Grunsven won the title Best Dressage Rider and in Eventing it was William Fox-Pitt who took the honours.

This year the top riders elected the best out and indoor dressage show and the best out en indoor driving show. The CHIO Aachen again won the outdoor dressage as well as the outdoor driving title. Best indoor dressage show was Stuttgart and the drivers choose Goteborg as the best indoor driving show.
