30 couples were remaining in the competition for the second part of the event, running for the European individual champion title. At 8.00am, the riders performed in front of 5 international judges.
Despite some good performances supported by the applause of the public, the event kept all the suspense until the last rider, the German Johanne Pauline Von Danwitz and Habitus 10. After a perfect test, the young woman left the ring with a overall score of 75.789%. She had won the individual gold medalith her 16 year-old Hanoverian, already European team champion in 2012. The Norwegian Gamlemshau Alexandra Andresen and Belamour are 2nd (72.974%).
The Dutch Jeanine Nekeman and Vlingh completed the podium with the bronze (72.921%).
For the French, the favourite Salome Sadoun / Dona Primera accomplished the best French performance finished in 8th place.
The French rider qualified for the final round of this European Championship Juniors, the Freestyle, the last chance for France to be on the podium.
Sadoun Salome (FRA) : “I'm really happy with my mare. She was very generous.
